Jennifer Tiexiera is a Los Angeles based film producer and editor. She most recently produced the VR documentary, ZIKR: A Sufi Revival, official selection of the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Last year, she both produced and edited documentaries, A Suitable Girl, winner of the Albert Maysles Award at the 2017 TriBeCa Film Festival and Waiting for Hassana, official selection of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. She also edited The Last Goodbye, a VR documentary that made it’s debut at the 2017 TriBeCa Film Festival and internationally at the 2017 Venice International Film Festival. Her previous editorial work includes the documentary Salam Neighbor, narrative film, Road to Paloma and the 2011 SXSW Documentary Grand Jury Winner, Dragonslayer.
Her television credits include the Emmy-nominated ESPN film, The Marinovich Project, the recent A&E documentary, Biggie: The Notorious Life of Biggie Smalls, and short film Woinshet, directed by Marisa Tomei and Lisa Leone for PBS.
Tiexiera’s docu-series work has appeared on CNN, A&E, VH1, History, Travel Channel, OWN, and SundanceTV, and her films have been official selections at numerous film festivals, including TIFF, LAFF, AFI, HotDocs, Sheffield Doc|Fest, CPH:DOX, and BFI.
